Our Church History
In the spring of 2001, Rev. Charles W. Dockett was led by the Holy Spirit to begin a ministry that would reach those in need of hope, help, healing and salvation. As the Lord opened his eyes to the many who are hurting in the world he yielded to the will of God and shared this vision with his wife, Margaret and his family.
After much prayer for guidance and assurance Rev. Dockett also shared his vision with his Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert L. Walls Sr., who confirmed he must do the will of the Lord. Several other saints desired to share in this ministry and after many meetings were held, various ministries were formed, chairpersons were elected, and the first service was soon scheduled.
Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church held its first worship service on Sunday, July 15, 2001 at 8 a.m., in its current location, which is still historically known as Free Hope Baptist Church. Bro. Alvin Dockett & Blessed rendered songs of Zion for this service.
Worship service continues to be held at this facility each Sunday at 11 a.m.
